AEW Rampage Spoilers – April 28th, 2023

On April 26th AEW returned to Florida for the latest set of Dynamite, Rampage, and Ring of Honor tapings.

Dynamite saw the surprise debut of Roderick Strong who ran in to help Adam Cole after he had been attacked by the Jericho Appreciation Society. Strong had been signed to WWE since 2016, featuring in NXT, although he hasn’t wrestled since August 2022.

Elsewhere, Orange Cassidy successfully defended his International Title with a win over Bandido and Jade Cargill retained the TBS Title after seeing off Taya Valkyrie.

Meanwhile, the war between the Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite continued with Bryan Danielson and co, standing tall at the end of the show after delivering another beatdown. After the show went off the air a frustrated Kenny Omega called on Tony Khan to bring an end to the chaos.

  • Jay White & Juice Robinson def Shawn Spears & Ricky Starks
  • Keith Lee & Dustin Rhodes def Brennan Hughes & Charlie James. After the match, the Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Prince Nana, Toa Leona, Kaun, and Swerve Strickland) stood at the top of the ramp.
  • Anna JAS def Ashley D’Amboise. Following Anna’s win the lights went out and when they came back on she was attacked by Julia Hart. However, Anna JAS had the upper hand by the time the segment ended.
  • The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass def Three Unnamed Wrestlers
  • Jay Lethal def Cash Wheeler with Mark Briscoe as the Special Enforcer. Lethal won after pushing Wheeler into Briscoe, following up with the Lethal Injection. Briscoe didn’t see Lethal shove Wheeler into him and questioned the FTR after the match.
