Triple H Has Major Plans For Rising WWE Star Following WrestleMania 39

Triple H

Triple H is reportedly planning big things for one up-and-coming WWE star.

At Clash at the Castle, Dominik finally turned on Rey Mysterio and his long-awaited heel turn was off to a flying start. However, no one could have predicted the meteoric rise that followed.

After joining forces with the Judgment Day and Rhea Ripley, “ex-con-Dom” has risen to become one of the top heels in the entire company. For months he goaded his father until the veteran finally snapped on March 24th and agreed to face him at WrestleMania 39.

Meanwhile, it has now been reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that WrestleMania might only be the beginning for the 25-year-old star. Dave Meltzer notes that Dominik has impressed everyone within WWE, including Triple H who is “very high” on the star.

“Everyone has been impressed with Dominik Mysterio and it’s pretty much universally acknowledged that Rey vs. Dominik is the hottest thing in the company aside from the Bloodline stuff. Levesque is very high on Dominik and his future past this angle and there are long-term plans for him as a star.”

Triple H To Miss Out On Major Free Agent

While Triple H might be impressed with the stars already at his disposal, that doesn’t mean he isn’t looking to add more. However, WWE’s Chief Content Officer looks to set to miss out on one highly prized target.

It has been reported that Kota Ibushi is reluctant to sign a permanent with either WWE or AEW, seemingly ruling out a move to the sports entertainment giant. Despite this, there is better news on Jay White, with WWE believing that the longer he goes without showing up on AEW television, the more chance they have of landing the star.
