Charlotte Flair Feels Like People Are Trying To “Push Her Out” Of WWE

Charlotte Flair

Ever since making her WWE debut Charlotte Flair has been at the top of the women’s division. She is one of the most decorated Superstars in WWE history. She is a fourteen-time women’s champion, Grand Slam Champion, Royal Rumble winner and WrestleMania headliner.

With WrestleMania 39 right around the corner, it is rumoured that she will main event the Show of Shows once again. As WWE heads to Hollywood for their annual two-day spectacular, Flair defends her SmackDown Women’s Championship against her long-time rival, Rhea Ripley.

After winning the Royal Rumble earlier this year, Ripley reignited their feud when she picked the Queen as her opponent at the SocFi Stadium on April 1st. If the two do meet in the main event of Night 1 of the Showcase of the Immortals it will be another significant accomplishment in her already lengthy list of achievements.

In the lead-up to her big-time match with Ripley, Flair spoke to CBS Sports. During the conversation, Flair was asked if she considers herself a living legend.

“I feel like we’re trying to push me out now. I’m not really sure. I feel like I haven’t even hit my prime yet or I’m just starting to get there. I love saying in a promo that I’m a living legend, but I don’t feel like it. When I think of legend, I think of The Undertaker’s career. The status he’s at. It means retired and drinking pina coladas on the beach somewhere in Tulum.”

Charlotte Flair Is A Record-Setting Seven-Time SmackDown Women’s Champion

After losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey at last year’s WrestleMania Backlash, Flair took a lengthy absence from the company.

On the December 30th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, she made her surprise return to challenge and beat the UFC Hall of Famer for the title and become the record-setting seven-time champion in the process.

Since regaining the title, she has successfully defended it against Shotzi and Sonya Deville.

Currently sidelined with injury, Charlotte Flair has provided an optimistic update on her WWE return.
